Welcome to the Suncoast-Hinterland Softball Association`s website for 2010. Our season commences on Saturday 17th April, concluding with our Grand Final on Saturday 28th August. (This may be extended should there be continual interference from the weather.)
Our grounds are situated at the Mooloolah Valley Country Club Sporting Grounds, 129 Mooloolah Connection Road, Mooloolah. We have teams competing from all over the Sunshine Coast, from Caloundra to Gympie and Hinterland. Juniors play Saturday mornings, with the Seniors playing Saturday afternoons, weather permitting. As we also share the grounds with a Soccer club, we do have to play about 8 Sundays throughout the season. Our Competition consists of mixed 3 Pitch (U10's) & U14, Women's A & B grades and a Men's competition. As our Association is still relatively young, and are still developing in many areas. Various Clinics are held throughout the season such as Coaching, Umpiring, Scoring and QSA Development Clinics. We look forward to helping in the development of future Players and Officials.
For wet weather cancellations, please listen to Hot 91 FM or 92.7FM from 8am. Our association's monthly Management meeting's are held the 3rd Tuesday of every month, 7pm at 4 Lillypilly Court, Kawana Forest (Meridan Plains).
